Incorporated in 1974.

Our Mission

To enhance the growth, development and independence
of persons with disabilities through person-centered
vocational rehabilitation leading to a broad spectrum of
employment opportunities and full integration into
community living.

Our Vision

CGS believes in maximizing opportunities for employment, offering a greater variety of choices and promoting self-direction in life for every individual with a disability.

Our Governance

CGS is governed by Board of Directors which meets quarterly. The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer, who manages and directs the organization.

Our Sources of Funding

CGS is a provider agency for, and is funded by:
•  The New York State Department of Education: Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with
   Disabilities (VESID)
•  New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD)
•  New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
