Do you enjoy working with pre-school children?

If so, you may want to learn more about the CGS Child Caring program. This 6-9 month training program focuses on skills leading to the Child Development Associate’s (CDA) certification. If you have an 8th grade or above reading level, this may be the answer to your search for employment. The course includes learning about child development, basic behavior management strategies, and the principles of running daycare and early childhood businesses. Completion of the full course will make you eligible for the Child Development Associate’s certification – a ticket to higher paying child care employment. Once you have completed both the classroom training and internship, you will become a candidate for a job as:

• Child care attendant
• Pre-school aide
• Teacher’s aide
• Daycare center worker
• Other public and private child care positions
• Child Development Associate (CDA)
